Members of the community are cordially invited to attend the 29th Annual Adoption Day Ceremony on Saturday, November 21, from 10am to noon at the Moultrie Courthouse. Giving the Gift of Family is the theme of this year’s program - promoting the importance of giving service to the community.
This celebration is the cornerstone of the DC’s efforts to encourage members of the community to adopt children who are currently in foster care and to provide them with permanent and loving homes. Over 20 children will have their adoptions finalized during the ceremony, and the event will feature a variety of performances by local youth as well as information and resources available for people interested in fostering or adopting.
